1. Free Trial
New accounts get a 15-day free trial with full access to document generation and Word (.docx) download. No payment method is required to start. There is nothing to cancel during the trial — if you simply don't subscribe after it ends, your access is paused.
2. Paid Subscription
- We offer three plans: Monthly (30 days), Quarterly (90 days), and Yearly (365 days). Current prices are shown on the in-product Account page and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Quarterly and yearly plans carry a per-month discount vs. the monthly base.
- Each payment extends your access by the chosen plan's duration, starting from the later of (a) now, or (b) your existing access-until date.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not store card or UPI details.
3. Cancellation
The subscription does not auto-renew. Simply stop making the next payment and your access ends at the conclusion of the current paid period. No cancellation form or call is required.
4. Refunds
Due to the instantly-delivered and digital-download nature of the service, payments are generally non-refundable. We may consider a refund in the following cases, at our sole discretion:
- Duplicate charge. If Razorpay charged you twice for the same order, we refund the duplicate within 7 working days.
- Service unavailability. If a verified technical failure on our side prevents you from downloading documents for more than 72 consecutive hours during a paid period, we may offer a pro-rated refund or a credit extending your subscription.
- Unauthorised payment. If a payment was made without your authorisation (for example because your account was compromised), notify us within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and, where appropriate, refund.
Refunds, where approved, are processed to the original payment instrument. Razorpay typically credits the refund within 5–7 working days of instruction.
5. Not Eligible for Refund
- Change of mind after a successful payment and successful document download.
- Dissatisfaction with the legal content of a generated template (templates are generic drafts — see our Disclaimer).
- Failure of a document to be accepted by a sub-registrar, bank or other authority — this is the user's responsibility to verify before relying on the draft.
- Any usage that breaches our Terms of Service.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email docgensupport@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge, with:
- the registered email address on your DocGen account;
- the Razorpay order ID or payment ID (both start with
order_orpay_); - a brief description of the issue.
We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and respond within 7 working days.
7. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India and should be read together with our Terms of Service. In case of conflict, the Terms control.
