1. No Lawyer-Client Relationship
Your use of DocGen does not create a lawyer-client, advocate-client, solicitor-client, or fiduciary relationship between you and DocGen or any of our employees or contractors. Nothing you type into the forms, nor any message you send to our support, is protected by legal privilege.
2. Templates, Not Final Legal Documents
The Agreement of Sale, Gift Deed, Rental Agreement, Lease Agreement, Affidavit, Memorandum of Understanding, Mortgage Deed and any other template offered through DocGen are general-purpose drafts. We have prepared them in good faith based on common Indian formats (with a focus on Telangana / Andhra Pradesh practice) but they:
- may not reflect the most recent statutory amendments;
- may require additional clauses specific to your facts, relationship between parties, stamp-duty regime, or local sub-registrar practice;
- are not guaranteed to be valid, enforceable, or accepted by any authority.
3. Your Responsibilities
Before executing, signing, notarising, stamping, registering or otherwise relying on a document generated by DocGen, you are solely responsible for:
- having the document reviewed by a qualified advocate or legal professional in your jurisdiction;
- verifying that all factual information (names, addresses, property details, amounts, dates, relationships) is accurate and complete;
- determining the correct stamp duty, registration fees and procedure for your state and transaction type;
- obtaining all statutory approvals, no-objection certificates, and consents required by law;
- procuring the necessary witness and attestation formalities; and
- retaining signed originals in accordance with applicable law.
4. State-Specific Requirements
Stamp-duty rates, registration procedures and mandatory clauses vary by state and by transaction type. Our templates default to formats common in Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. If your property or parties are located elsewhere, additional modifications may be required. Please consult a local legal professional.
5. No Warranty
The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legal sufficiency. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocGen disclaims all such warranties.
6. Limitation of Liability
DocGen, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, penalty, stamp-duty deficiency, registration rejection or other consequence arising out of or in connection with your use of any generated document. Your use of the service is at your own risk. See the Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability.
7. Questions
